Born in 1975, Tracey grew up and was educated in Kent. In 2015, Tracey was re-elected with a a majority of 11,455 for the constituency of Chatham & Aylesford. She is currently serving as parliamentary Under Secretary at the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport.

She will lead a drive against a social epidemic of loneliness. The Prime Minister, Theresa May, said. “Isolation was a sad reality of modern life for too many people.”

The Prime Minister added, “I want to confront this challenge and for all of us to take action to address the loneliness endured by the elderly, by carers, by those who have lost loved ones, people who have no one to talk to or share their thoughts or experiences with.”

The move was recommended in a report from the Jo Cox Commission on loneliness. Jo was the Labour MP murdered by a far-right fanatic.

Labour MP Rachel Reeves, together with Mrs. May’s parliamentary aide, Seema Kennedy, worked with 13 Charities over the past year to help find solutions for the commission’s report.

In 2013 Esther Rantzen founded the Silver Line. It is a free 24 hour service which is available for pensioners who want to chat, seek advice or report abuse.
