BECOMING AN #ALLin AMBASSADOR – QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Q. What is the aim of #ALLin?

A. We receive a large number of emails from disabled people whose voice is not being heard. And it’s not just about personal problems – it can be about general issues. Like access to difficult stations and buildings – like downward pressure on benefits – like being treated as second class citizens.

Single voices, or even small groups, are often ignored. Only those with with sufficient numbers, who can shout loudly, are paid attention to.

Q. And is that what #ALLin aims to do?

A. Our goal is to become a movement with a minimum of 1 million members world-wide. But we acknowledge that this can only be achieved by organic growth. That is why we need current #ALLin Ambassadors spreading the word.

Q. Does that mean we have to wait until #ALLin is a million strong before our voice is heard?

A. Absolutely not! We recently emailed emailed 89 UK Members of Parliament asking them to support us .. not one could be bothered to reply! But if you watch this space we will ask them again in the full glare of publicity. They should be a voice for disabled people.

We approached 89 MPs to join us – as of yet no replies!

Q. What else does #ALLin aim to achieve?

A. When we become 25,000 strong we will create our own intranet. This will allow every #ALLin Ambassadors to swap ideas, suggest new causes, add energy, voice new issues and even join forces with overseas members to form a common bond.

Q. So how can I help if I am an #ALLin Ambassador?

A. Recruit more Ambassadors, tell us your ideas on how to expand, put forward suggestions, ask celebrities to join and add their voice, approach local Radio & TV stations .. and tell everyone that it’s good, really good, to be an #ALLin Ambassador.

Q. Is this our movement or yours?

A. Totally yours! As we say, “The More We Are .. The Stronger We’ll Be!” Join with us and make the world a better place.

BY BECOMING AN #ALLin AMBASSADOR THIS IS YOUR COMMITMENT

“Committing yourself to promoting equality and diversity in every possible way. Whether as an employer, an employee, a government official, a charity worker, as a relative or as a friend, as a neighbour or even as a stranger. As an individual or as a group. Fighting for justice and equal opportunities for every single person on the planet.

Practically every decision you make affects other people. You can effect change. The ‘social model of disability’ says that a disability is caused by the way society is organised rather than a person’s impairment or difference. You can help remove barriers that will allow disabled people to be independent and equal in society with choice and control over their own lives.”

You can make a difference. You can serve humanity.
