We now have #ALLin Ambassadors from 11 different countries throughout the world. And that’s great news because we want our movement to be truly global.
And as we have said, many times before, lone voices are largely ignored and brushed aside. But collective voices are listened to. And that’s why we want to become a million strong. That’s when our voice becomes a roar.
And as well as going global we aim to create our own Intranet where all our #ALLin Ambassadors can converse with each other and publish their views, opinions, new causes and share their thoughts about how to make the world a better place.
HOW DO I BECOME AN #ALLin AMBASSADOR?
Simply read the following commitment and if it applies to you contact us (chris@disabilitytalk.co.uk) and we will send you your #ALLin Certificate
” As an #ALLin Ambassador you are committed to promoting equality and diversity in every possible way. Whether as an employer, an employee, a government official, a charity worker, as a relative or as a friend, as a neighbour or even as a stranger. As an individual or as a group.
Fighting for justice and equal opportunities for every single person on the planet. Practically every decision you make affects other people. You can effect change.
The ‘social media model of disability’ says that a disability is caused by the way society is organised rather than a person’s impairment or difference.
You can help remove barriers that will allow disabled people to be independent and equal in society with choice and control over their own lives.”
