We’ve got places in the Hackney Half Marathon this May and we’d love for you to join us!
As well as ticking off a new personal achievement, you’ll be helping us to fund life-changing research into kinder and more effective treatments for people living with leukaemia.
The Hackney Half is no ordinary half marathon. There’s live entertainment and DJs along the whole route, so the streets will be alive with music, making for a buzzing atmosphere to keep you motivated to the finish line.
And the route is flat and fast, so it’s perfect for your first half marathon, or if you’re looking to achieve a new personal best.Plus, you’ll receive dedicated support from our fantastic fundraising team from the moment you sign up. We’ll give you your own running vest to wear with pride on race day and we’ll be there cheering you on from the sidelines – and your friends and family can join us too!
Hackney Half Marathon: May 2024
The Hackney Half Marathon is a fantastic event and we want you to join team Leukaemia UK! There will be live entertainment and DJs to keep you inspired, not just at event centres but during the race both at event HQ and out on the course. There will be no need for headphones as the streets will be alive with music, and a buzzing atmosphere.
Runners will cruise down Mare Street through a carnival of sound. You will pass some iconic landmarks and venues, including the famous Town Hall, the historic Broadway Market and Hackney Wick. Keep an eye out for the vibrant street art. To add to this already great mix, the route is flat and fast, making it perfect for anyone doing their first half marathon or looking for a PB.
