198 London Tube Stations Are NOT Step Free!

Our investigation shows that only 72 London Underground Stations are actually step free – and that means that 198 aren’t!

In 21st century England surely this cannot be right? And it’s a question we shall be putting to Theresa May.

In our next post we will air the views of Transport for London and what they are doing to rectify the situation. They have outlined to us their business plan which they say will bring the number of step free station (that is access to all platforms) to more than a 100 by 2021/2020 – which will increase the proportion of accessible stations to 40 per cent of the network.
