WHAT HOSPICE CARE REALLY MEANS

During Hospice Care Week (8-14 October) the Woking & Sam Beare Hospice have been out and about asking what hospice care really means.

The Woking & Sam Beare Hospice teamed up with Radio Jackie who interviewed some of their staff. And the reporters were very surprised to understand that over 70% of their care takes place in the community .. and the amount of services that they provide across of all of their area (North West Surrey).

Each year they care for around 2,000 patients, their carers and families.

And the fact that they have to rely on voluntary donations in order to do so!

And like most Hospice’s they need your donations to help and assist in the fabulous work they carry out .. every day of the year.

Marion and Olive have shared their heartwarming story about friendship, fun and feeling better which is featured in the Hospice’s autumn edition of their INSPIRE Magazine that is out now. To read the Magazine please CLICK HERE to view.
