Demand better train travel for disabled people
“I’m Chloe, a 30 year old writer and I rely on trains. I use them to see friends, go to my course and visit exhibitions. But at the moment, travelling on the train makes me really anxious. Once I’m on the train, I have to rely upon staff and sometimes members of the public to get me off at the right stop. In the past I’ve ended up begging the guard to help. I often feel stranded and completely helpless! It’s so stressful and exhausting.”
Support comes in all shapes and sizes – a bit like us – and it all makes a difference. Whether you run, bake, volunteer or campaign with us – you will be part of a passionate and diverse community who enable us to do everything humanely possible to empower people to live their lives as freely and as fully as they choose.
