Mental well-being while staying at home
“To help you deal with the uncertainty in a positive way, we wanted to be sure you have some tips that could help you improve your mental health and well-being if you are worried or anxious about the coronavirus outbreak.
“COVID-19 has changed everyone’s life immeasurably, but many people with neurological conditions have been particularly badly affected.”
“The Brain Charity now offers extra support to those who are unable to leave home because they are ‘shielding’ from the virus.”
“Dementia can cause confusion and loneliness at the best of times, and such drastic shifts in routine as those caused by the lockdown may exacerbate these feelings. Here we provide some tips on approaching the lockdown guidelines to explain them to a person living with dementia.”
