SIBLINGS STILL FACING SIGNIFICANT CHALLENGES

From ‘SIBS’

As lockdown measures are eased further, we know that many siblings continue to face significant challenges during the coronavirus outbreak. We are here for you and your families. Remember you are not alone – stay in touch with us on TwitterFacebook and through this mailing.

Coronavirus – we are still here for you
We continue to offer support throughout the coronavirus outbreak, and have developed a new section of our website with all our coronavirus information and resources in one place.
Go to www.sibs.org.uk/coronavirus/ for:

  • “Coming second all the time” – our report on life in lockdown for young siblings of disabled children
  • The impact of coronavirus on adult siblings, including stories from adult siblings about their experiences
  • Covid-19 useful information for adult siblings (updated as often as we can)
  • Information for parents of young siblings

Calling young siblings aged 7-17
We are currently reviewing how we support young siblings aged 7-17 through our website www.youngsibs.org.uk If your sibling child has used the site, or would like to help us with feedback on how they would like support, we would love responses to our quick survey.
