From the ‘British Lung Foundation’
As we enter October, the weather is starting to change, central heating is being switched on and people are digging out their warmer clothes.
Another important way to start getting winter-ready is to get your flu vaccine. Flu can be a serious illness if you have a lung condition, causing your symptoms to flare up and your condition to get worse.
This year it’s more important than ever to get the free flu vaccine if you have a lung condition, as it’s predicted that there will be much higher levels of flu around, compared to the 2020/21 season.
Try to book yours during the autumn, if you can.
