MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLBEING IN THE WORKPLACE

Do you feel confident talking to colleagues about mental health in the workplace?

1 in 6 of us experience a mental health issue in any given week, and yet 45% of us would never talk to anyone in the workplace about our mental health.

What we know to be true from our extensive research, is that the workplace is one of the most effective settings for mental health interventions.

In partnership with our subsidiary Mental Health At Work CIC, we are delighted to announce the launch of a new online course to help you and your workplace support good mental health. To date, Mental Health at Work have worked with companies in over 62 countries and with companies including UNICEF, Starbucks, and Nandos.

Together, we have developed this course which covers topics such as the legal duty of care, burnout, making reasonable adjustments, relationships with line managers, connecting with colleagues in a hybrid workplace and many more.

The short course will require approximately a 6 hour commitment from learners. We suggest dedicating 2 hours per week over the course of 3 weeks, but with unlimited on-demand access, you have the flexibility to work through the course at the pace and on the schedule which suits you best.

At every step of the way, you will join discussions with other committed learners in the comments section. Access to this interactive course which has been certified by the CPD is great value at only £45 per person. Bulk discounts can also be arranged by contacting orders@futurelearn.com. If you and your workplace are committed to improving staff wellbeing, why not sign up today?
