NATIONAL SIBLINGS DAY – 10 APRIL 2021

From ‘Sibs’

Join us in celebrating National Siblings Day – a global awareness day recognising brothers and sisters! At Sibs, we know what the valuable role siblings play in the lives of their disabled brothers and sisters, how unique their relationship can be and how they need to be recognised and celebrated in their own right too.

This year’s theme is #ItsaSiblingThing and we would love you to support the day by sharing your sibling thing on social media. Whether it is a photograph of you and your brother growing up, a photo of your children or a memory or funny story about your sister, we would love to hear them.  We have prepared lots of resources on our website to help you support the day.  Check them out here.

We are running an online art session for young siblings on National Siblings Day – there are some places available for young siblings aged 11-17 – places can be booked here. We also have some free colouring sheets for young siblings – why not share your artwork and tag Sibs #ItsaSiblingThing.
