DISABLED LIVES MATTER: HAVE YOUR SAY

DISABLED LIVES MATTER

We believe that ‘Disabled Lives Matter’. 20% of the UK’s population is disabled and sometimes they feel they’re the forgotten minority. Could this be true? Is it true?

HAVE YOUR SAY AND BE PUBLISHED

Here at Disability Talk we are committed to providing a platform for debate, and we will be asking you, as well as politicians, charities and ‘influencers’ from within our society to be frank and honest and tell us what needs to be changed. We really want to hear your voice.

HAVE YOUR SAY

Our platform is for you .. it’s an open format so please feel free to air your views; but here are some points that you may wish to address.

Q) Are the millions of disabled people in the UK a largely forgotten minority?

Q) Is too much reliance for enhancing disabled people’s lives being placed unfairly on the shoulders of Charities?

Q) Has COVID-19 impacted more severely on disabled people?

Q) Is loneliness more prevalent amongst disabled people?

Q) Are the expectations of disabled people substantially lower than their able-bodied counterparts?

Q) Does Travel in the UK discriminate against the disabled and hamper their life chances?

Q) Are the resources allotted to disability issues limited and should there be more money spent?

Q) Are job opportunities in the UK disproportionately geared towards the able-bodied?

Q) Should the Ministers for the Disabled be afforded a full Cabinet Role?

Q) What can the government do to address the issues of disability unfairness in our society?

We very much look forward to hearing from you .. our aim, after publishing, is to collate all replies, analyse and then forward to Government, MPs, Charities and the media.
